transition-duration: 0.2s; transition-timing-function: linear; color: #f89a22;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.elspec-ltd.com\/medicion-y-proteccion\/g5-fasor-medida-unidad\/?lang=es\">PMU<\/a>) en la red inteligente son los dispositivos de detecci\u00f3n ubicados estrat\u00e9gicamente para capturar los fasores del sistema de energ\u00eda utilizando una fuente de tiempo com\u00fan para la sincronizaci\u00f3n. El proceso se suele realizar sobre amplias \u00e1reas geogr\u00e1ficas, a trav\u00e9s de un sistema de posicionamiento global habilitado para el marcado de tiempo (time-stamping). Los datos obtenidos del dispositivo forman la base de todas las acciones de monitoreo y control para los sistemas de medici\u00f3n de \u00e1rea amplia. La medida resultante se conoce como sincrofasor. Una PMU es la forma estructurada de un sistema de medici\u00f3n de \u00e1rea amplia.<br \/>A diferencia de los par\u00e1metros de potencia escalares t\u00edpicos, como RMS y arm\u00f3nicos, las salidas del sincrofasor son vectores compuestos por la medici\u00f3n de la magnitud y la fase. Los errores pueden ocurrir por la magnitud o la fase, o por ambos.
